Do you ever visit the vineyards in Loudoun County, VA? They are SO beautiful- ESPECIALLY in the fall! I got married at Sunset Hills- which is just stunning- but there are tons that I would recommend. You and the boyf should definitely go out there on a Saturday or Sunday.

One of my fave things to do (here’s my inner dork) is go to the Renn Fest in Crownsville. I’m going on Sunday! (AND. They serve Sam Adams cherry wheat on tap in a BIG CERAMIC MUG. Reason enough to go.)

I discovered Sunset Hills last Fall and it’s my favorite! I need to branch out more b/c lately I only go there instead of making a trip to a few vineyards. Your wedding must have been beautiful there!!! :) What are some of your other favorites to visit?!?!

I’m originally from Annapolis and spent a few weekends at RenFest every year. It’s so fun and the food is delicious! Mac & Cheese on a stick – how could you go wrong?! Hehe! Hope you have a great time on Sunday!!!

Hello!! I just came across your blog over at Carrots N’ Cake. I live in Alexandria VA and your story of your progress is basically how my life has been (minus moving to VT, though I’ve visited my cousins at college in Burlington and just loved it there). Fall is my favorite season and I’m so excited to start all the normal “Fall traditions” of carving pumpkins, apple picking, eating pumpkin EVERYTHING, the list goes on and on. Thanks for the heads up about the Del Ray arts festival, will be stopping by there this weekend!

The Amish Market is amazzzing!!!! I’m originally from Annapolis so have spent many a Saturday morning there (which also got me to where I didn’t want to be on the scale – I was addicted to their donuts in high school!). Love going back to treat myself from time to time!!

If you ever want to meet up for coffee or something pumpkin’ish (can’t wait to try out Grounded Coffee), it would be great to meet you and chat!!! :)
