Even after a snowy day yesterday, I was totally surprised to see ice on my car this morning!
By 8AM this morning, Neal and I were out the door and on our way to visit the church we are going to get married in! I love this church and am so excited about having our ceremony there.
The Reverend and his wife are so funny and the church has some amazing members!
After church, we headed over to the “barn venue”, to take a second look. It was great being able to see the barn with tables and chairs in it!
We then met with a couple of caterers and headed over to the Lodge at Little Seneca Creek. I’m REALLY hoping that this one works out!
Log cabin anyone?? YES!
We adore the Lodge at Little Seneca Creek and will find out tomorrow if it’s available to us. FINGERS CROSSED!!
After a day of wedding planning, we went grocery shopping and settled in to watch the Redskins game (they are so bad right now btw). Tonight I’m hanging out with Liz, one of my besties and bridesmaids.
This is a short week for me, YAY, as I’m heading back to Texas to spend time with my family, celebrate my Dad’s birthday, go wedding dress shopping, and to see my other best friend! I love, love, love Texas and am so thrilled to be heading back this week.
I am also 2 days away from my first Weight Watchers weigh in, and am really hoping for a good outcome. So far this week, I have counted all of my points but as I shared yesterday, have not worked out since last Sunday. Tomorrow morning Neal and I are going for a 40 minute run and then tomorrow afternoon I am going to LA Boxing!!! All in all though, it has been a good first week– considering all of the adjustments.
