My first wedding dress fitting is in 8 weeks!  The good thing is, my dress fits perfectly as of today, so any weight I lose or any toning made to my body will only make me feel better in my dress.  Sidenote: my hair is getting longer!! Yay for wedding day hair.

I’ve been thinking a lot since I blogged last week about “evenings sabotaging our diets” and have decided that I need to make some changes to my routine and diet. So here’s what I’m doing…

  • Continue tracking my calories with My Fitness Pal every day
  • Eat a snack before heading home each day (between 3 and 5PM)
  • Have dinner when I get home (6PM-7PM)
  • Measure out all food, track calories, and then eat dinner
  • Close the kitchen after dinner.  No eating after 8PM

Am I being strict?  Yes, but I want to take control of my evenings again.  It’s hard when you track your calories all day and get a great workout in, only to overeat or eat for no reason when you get home.  I’m grateful to have stayed the same weight this past week, but I know I can and should be losing weight.

Thursday Cardio and Weight Lifting @ Gym Traveling to San Antonio

I am traveling to San Antonio this Thursday for Stephanie’s birthday, the Cystic Fibrosis Tower Climb, and to get some wedding planning done.  I am so excited to be with my dear friend and to help raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!

Since I’m only here for 4 days this week, I’m trying to use up my perishable items in my fridge.  For breakfasts this week, I made a big old batch of banana steel cut oats.  For lunch, I am going to use up my lettuce and fresh veggie patties.  For dinner, I really have lots of options, so I’m just going to listen to my body and stay within my calorie count.  My daily calorie goal is 1571 calories, not including calories burned during workouts.

I hope each of you have a wonderful week!  Happy Presidents Day!
