Springtime Giveaway

Yesterday I said goodbye to my snowmen bed sheets.

A few years ago I bought these at Target to brighten up my winters.  They do the trick every year!  There’s just something about climbing into a warm winter themed bed!

My spring/summer bedding is back, which I love!

I just love the paisley sheets, gold and cream comforter and the accent pillow.  My bedroom is definitely my favorite room in my house.

Yesterday was day 1 of my “mid semester vacation” and boy did I get a lot done.  I ran errands, did laundry, cleaned my apartment and then went to dinner and a movie with my dear friend Danielle.  We met up at Euro Bistro in Herndon, VA which offers amazing German food!

The dishes are authentic and take me right back to Germany.

They also offer lots of yummy beers, which is never a bad thing!

I ordered a Leffe Blonde (200 calories) and enjoyed every sip!  My friend Adam introduced me to Leffe.  If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend any of their beers.

For dinner I ordered the stuffed cabbage.  I have always wanted to try stuffed cabbage and I was not disappointed!  The cabbage leaves we’re filled with a rice and meat mixture and then topped with a tomato sauce.  The side of potatoes were also devine.  Europeans make awesome potatoes if you ask me.

After dinner Danielle and I went to go see The Vow.  It was a good movie though I wish it had taken us further into their future…

So I think it’s time for a giveaway!

Today through Monday morning, you have a chance to win two springtime goodies!!  Two of my new favorite things are Trader Joe’s Toasted Coconut Cookie Thins and William-Sonoma’s Meyer Lemon Hand Balm.  Man oh man do I love these two products!! If meyer lemon doesn’t scream spring then I don’t know what else will.

To Enter the Springtime Giveaway simply:

I’ll randomly pick a winner on Monday morning (March 19, 2012). (Please note that you must live in the Continental United States to qualify).

I too, have flannel snowman sheets that I simply ADORE! They were a super clearance purchase when Linens ‘N Things was going out of business and they quickly became my favorite. Sadly, when we bought our house we also bought a king-sized bed so I no longer had a bed that fits my snowman sheets, however, I keep a pillow on my bed year round with my snowman pillowcase. :)
I liked you and voted for you but how in the heck didn’t I know you were on Facebook and nominated for a Fitterati?! I swear I always miss things when reading on Google Reader. Congratulations!

Oh that restaurant looks great! My bf’s grandmother is from Germany so we get schnitzel, spaztle, and all that jazz a few times a year! It’s delicious. That cabbage roll looks delicious as well!
