This is my third month as part of the Foodie Penpals program! It is such a fun way to connect with other bloggers and readers. January and February were a lot of fun so I was really looking forward to connecting with my penpal this month.
My penpal for the month of March was Elizabeth from Don’t (White) Sugar-Coat It! Elizabeth sent me an awesome box of goodies from Whole Foods.
Included in the box was a packet of miso soup mix, buckwheat noodles, roasted chickpeas, Quinn Popcorn, tea, and a mixture of cocoa and seeds for a recipe included in the box.
Sadly I haven’t been able to try anything yet, but I’m really excited to try all of the products!
I think I’m most excited about the buckwheat noodles and the recipe Elizabeth sent me for chocolate pudding.
To become a Foodie Penpal, just sign up online on The Lean Green Bean’s blog! You sign up month to month so you’re not having to commit to a long term program. Sadly I’m going to have to go on hiatus from the program until after my wedding but I’m excited to join up again next fall.

Day 3 of the Body Revolution was pretty stinkin’ awesome to be perfectly honesty!! To start off the day, I woke up at 5:15AM and went to spin. Yesterday’s spin class focused on legs, including a 15 minute sculpting session after the 45 minutes of spin. My legs were slightly sore during the day yesterday but I was still feeling really good. After work I was UBER hungry so as soon as I got home I threw some chicken in the oven and started cardio 1! I really love cardio 1! The running man is still the most difficult for me but the 30 minute workout flew by once again. After cooling down I assembled my dinner and chowed down.
Breakfast- Everything bagel with egg whites and coffee (350 calories)
Lunch- Leftover shirataki spaghetti, green beans, and a fruit cup (230 calories)
Snacks- Apple cinnamon chobani, apple, and a grande skim caramel macchiato (401 calories)
Dinner- Stir fry green beans and broccoli slaw with soy sauce with two Trader Joe’s chicken skewers. No Pudge Brownies for dessert… (445 calories)
Total calories- 1426 calories
Day 4 is here and it’s FRIDAY!!! My workout plan for today is to workout over lunch and then to do workout 1 as soon as I get home tonight.
I hope y’all have a wonderful day!
