This past weekend, Neal and I headed to San Antonio to spend time with friends and family and to celebrate our upcoming wedding. Saturday night, my dear friend Stephanie threw us a San Antonio wedding shower along with my sister and both of our moms.
As the shower wasn’t until 6PM, I was incredibly anxious and excited for 5:30PM to roll around that way we could head on over to the party.
We were welcomed by so many friends and loved ones! And how cute are these decorations?? Stephanie, Alison, my Aunt Donna, my Mom, Brenda, Maria, and Lolis did a fantastic job! The fiesta theme was just perfect.
Stephanie made Neal and I feel so encouraged and special. For me, there’s not much better than spending time with Stephanie, so I really treasured this time with her.
My sister also put in a lot of hard work to make the party great, and I just can’t thank her enough (many of these photos were taken by her)!
The food stations were adorable, complete with Mexican sodas, lemonade, Mexican beers…
and LOTS of awesome Mexican food. Stephanie’s mom made us an amazing dinner, complete with chicken fajita tacos, rice, beans, and lots of amazing salsas. Stephanie made this spicy green salsa that was to die for. Remember the last time she cooked for me?
My mom and sister also made us some amazing desserts, including these Nutella Cloud Fudge Cupcakes
and a Tres Leche Cake. Stephanie made this adorable cake topper out of paper doyleys…A-DORABLE!
Neal and I had a fabulous time and it made us so excited for our wedding! Thank you again to everyone who celebrated with us, and to my Aunt Donna for flying in from Atlanta! We loved being able to spend time with you all.
I still can’t believe that in 38 days I’ll be marrying this man. Ole!
