I have a new love in my life… Gnu Foods Flavor and Fiber bars.  Y’all know I have tried a number of different bars, but these are by far my favorite.  When I received my pack of bars, I just fell head over heals for the flavors.  Chocolate Brownie, Espresso Chip, Orange Cranberry, Cinnamon Raisin, Peanut Butter, Banana Walnut and their three new flavors, Blueberry Cobbler, Blondie, and Carrot Cake covered my kitchen counter.

All of the flavors are unique making it difficult for me to pick a favorite but here are my top three…

1.  Orange Cranberry Bar

2.  Blondie Bar

3.  Blueberry Cobbler

Beyond the flavors, I love that these bars are chewy and extremely nutritious!  Did you see… they have TWELVE GRAMS OF FIBER in them!!  How awesome is that?  That’s 48% of your daily recommended intake of fiber.

Most bars have 3-4 grams of fat in them and have 130-140 calories in them.  I don’t know about you, but I think that is wicked awesome for a high fiber bar!  I’ve always loved granola bars and high fiber bars but I struggle at the thought of eating 250 calories in one bar.  The flavor and fiber bars are so tasty and beyond filling because of the amount of fiber in them.

So who wants a shot at winning a FREE 16-pack of Gnu Foods Flavor and Fiber bars?  All you need to do is head on over to the Gnu Foods Facebook page and ‘Like’ Gnu’s post about the giveaway on Coffee, Cake and Cardio.  Anyone who Likes the post on the Gnu Foods Facebook page will be entered into the giveaway.

This week I’m planning to throw a Flavor and Fiber bar into my work bag along with some fresh strawberries for a late afternoon snack!  That’ll be the perfect snack before my Body Revolution workout and to tie me over until dinner.

Butler's Orchard Pick Your Own Strawberries

Yesterday Neal and I headed over to Butler’s Orchard in Germantown, Maryland to pick our own strawberries.

I love picking produce and was excited to take Neal strawberry picking!

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect.  The strawberries were nearing the end of their season, but there still were lots of berries to pick.

5 pounds later, we were set (for at least the week)!! I’m thinking I’ll be freezing some strawberries for smoothies by mid week.

Well I hope y’all have an amazing start to the week!  Today I start Body Revolution Phase 3 (week 9), which is exciting yet scary.  What motivates me though is my wedding (33 more days) and my Body Revolution results so far.  You have to check out my Phase 2 results if you haven’t seen them already.

Also, don’t forget to enter the Gnu Foods Giveaway.  It’ll be open through the week.

Happy Monday!
