Can you believe it’s the last week of June already? Time is flying by but I’m enjoying every moment of it! This past weekend I accomplished sooooo much for the wedding and can not believe how close it is!
Saturday morning I woke up bright and early and headed to the gym for a 30 minute workout. Afterwards I went to the farmers market with Alison and Neal to pick up some produce for the week ahead.
I bought so much produce and have some awesome recipes up my sleeve (stuffed jalapenos and bell peppers anyone?). We walked away with okra, jalapenos, tomatoes, peaches, sour cherries, blueberries, rhubarb, and bell peppers!
After the farmers market, Alison and I ran downtown to pick up the mason jars for the wedding and then spent the rest of the day hanging out with my Aunt Danielle, organizing wedding to do lists, and working on seating arrangements.
Sunday was a HUGE wedding planning day, as I met up with our wedding day wedding coordinators Laurie and Jill!
We went to the reception hall for a final walk through, discussed catering, made a few more lists and then went to the church to test our the music and the processional.
In 12 days we’ll be taking this same picture but in our wedding attire!!
Sunday night Becky came over to help us finish up the escort cards and the seating cards. Alison and Becky worked their tails off while I clean the house and plan out the week ahead.
For dinner I made farmers market tomato, basil, and mozzarella sandwiches
and a big old batch of strawberry-rhubarb-cherry crumble!
I am so thankful for their help last night! We had a lot of fun and were able to accomplish a TON! Tonight I’m off to meet with my caterer for a final walk through and then it’s on to more crafting and planning with my sister.
