After a week dedicated to my puppy, it’s now time to return to the gym. With Neal returning home tomorrow I’ll have a lot more freedom to get out of the apartment and to head on down to the gym for a workout. Despite the fact that I haven’t been to the gym in a week, walking Theodore 4-6 times a day has helped me to reach my daily steps goals and to keep moving. Theo also keeps me from being bored, which in the end keeps me from snacking! A win-win!

Scaleless Summer is ending in 2 weeks and I want the results to be awesome! I feel like I’ve lost weight and am eager to see the number on the scale on September 21.
My eating habits have really changed over the past 3 weeks, focusing on eating lean meats and lots of veggies for dinner instead of eating carbs. I’ve also tried to view my breakfasts and lunches as fuel for the day, which has kept me from eating too little or too much.
I will admit that I’ve been eating a lot of the same things each day, but as longs as I’m not getting bored with the foods I say stick with what works and what you enjoy. Have a wonderful Saturday!
Breakfast– Strawberry smoothie made with Zico coconut water and chocolate Vega
Lunch– Salad bar at whole foods (romaine, mushrooms, feta, egg, chicken, balsamic dressing and a little curried wheat berry salad on the side and 3 pieces of pasta.
Dinner– Leftover brussles sprouts and a cherry smoothie made with Zico coconut water and vanilla almond Vega
