Thursday afternoon I headed to the airport for my trip to Reebok Headquarters.
As I wasn’t going to have dinner until 8:30PM or later, I searched high and low for a Weight Watchers point friendly snack at the airport. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be to be honest. Foods that I thought would be low in points ended up being 8-10 points a serving. A lot more than I was willing to spend on a snack!
And then, out of the corner of my eye I saw one of my favorite bars, NuGo Vanilla Yogurt! At just 4PP I knew it was the perfect snack for me.
When I landed in Boston I headed out to the taxi lane and for the first time in my life was picked up by a Town Car. There was a driver holding a sign with my name on it and all. It was pretty awesome!
Reebok had us staying at the Marriott Quincy, which was a beautiful hotel. I’m a big Marriott fan so I was excited to hear we’d be staying there Thursday night.
The big bed was calling my name but first I had a date with one of my best friends, Melissa.
Melissa and I headed over to Little Duck Thai in Quincy, MA for a late dinner and lots of girl talk.
I ordered the pineapple chicken, which was made with chicken, onions, carrots, pineapple, sweet potatoes, and a curry sauce. On the side I asked for brown rice instead of white rice.
It was a very light and enjoyable dinner. I did not know the exact nutritional value for the dinner but I after some research I calculated 21 points (16 for the dinner and 5 points for 1 cup of rice).
Melissa and I caught up over dinner and then I headed back to the hotel to get some sleep.
Those legs had no idea what was about to hit them at Reebok Crossfit One the next day…
When you’re traveling, do you pack a snack or do you find something at the airport?

I always pack and buy water. I can’t wait to hear more about your trip. So jealous

I usually pack my snacks. I feel like there are too many “bad” choices out there. Or I may buy trail mix or something! Ill bring fruit or protein bars etc.
Well, I always WISH that I had packed snacks if that counts. Lol. I always buy overpriced things like granola and Hint water.

I really need to start packing when I travel because I end up purchasing unhealthy options at the airport! I try to find pieces of fresh fruit and protein bars if I am in a crunch.

I live 5 mine from Reebok HQ! I always pack snacks….my friends & coworkers laugh at my stash of goods I travel with. Better to be prepared than disappointed & hungry when you cannot find something healthy & FIlling to eat!
That bed looks so comfy! I wish someone would come make up my bed like that every day.
I definitely take a snack. Even if I think I can find something at the airport, I don’t want to pay the price. Plus what if I’m wrong and nothing good is there.

I always travel with snacks [or meals if it's during that time of day] whenever I’m traveling! I’d hate to get stuck in the airport with no food, especially if there was a delay!
