I’ve been juicing the past few days but normally I make a smoothie most mornings for breakfast. I like adding an inch or so of fresh ginger to my juice. It makes things extra yummy.

Ive added ginger to a few of mine. SOOO tasty!
That Very Cherry Blend from Trader Joe’s is my absolute favorite! I bought 4 bags the last time I was there and go through it so quick!
They all sound good! I love using Silk Chocolate Almond Milk, a frozen banana, and some spinich – its like drinking a choc milk shake but for much less points!
Chocolate almond milk for smoothies! Why didn’t I think of that!

I discovered root vegetable milk recently and I’m over the moon for it!
Combine juices of carrots, beet, sweet potato, something green (I used baby kale) and add a touch of almond milk. It’s super healthy and super delicious!

I have never heard of root veggie milk. I’ve got to try this out!
I love smoothies! I’m craving one with my dinner tonight. Lately my favorite has been the classic Green Monster smoothie, I make mine with Greek yogurt, spinach, PB2, banana, and protein powder. Absolutely delicious!

Yum, thanks for all these recipes! I make a juice similar to the “Everything but juice” a lot. It’s so tasty!

Doesn’t all that fruit liquified into juice add a lot of extra sugar into your daily eats? I’ve always heard that it is better to just consume whole fruits because then your body has the added benefit of a ton of fiber to go along with the sugar you are taking in. Those recipes do sound delicious though! I want to try the cran-raspberry smoothie. Yummy!
Hey Scarlet– I actually do not know for sure. Maybe some of my RD readers can help with this one. I do know that you lose the fiber found in the pump/skin, but I think that’s why it’s important to add veggies into your juices. If you’re doing only fruit juices, that can be a lot of sugar. I also find that juicing keeps me from eating other sweets.
Great juicing list, friend! I was just wanting to start a “Juicehead” (haha) board on pinterest. Looks like I’m starting in the right place!

Oh, what a great idea! I never thought of adding cranberries to a smoothie before…. does it make it taste bitter at all?

I love how you can throw pretty much anything into smoothies and they will always turn out so well!
