I was going through some old photos and came across ones from when I went wedding dress shopping. As I couldn’t share them with y’all at the time, I thought it’d be fun to show y’all what I tried on and the dress I still can’t stop thinking about…
I did all of my shopping in Texas about a month after getting engaged and found my dress on day one. Alongside me were my Mom, sister, and best friend Stephanie.

Though I absolutely loved “the one that got away” it wasn’t the right feel for my wedding. With a county/rustic wedding, the coffee stained lace with the double v-neck was the way to go. I did love my wedding dress and look forward to getting that other one when Neal and I renew our vows (wink wink).

Love YOUR dress…but enjoyed seeing the other dresses you tried!! My wedding dress was the 2nd one under your “no’s”…but funny thing is my runner-up was also your “the one that got away”…and I regret not picking it still!! Beautiful dress and I LOVED the pocket theme!!!

I do really like “the one that got away,” but I agree with you that it didn’t really match with the feel of your wedding. I think you made the right choice!
