I’ve a huge coffee lover, hence part of my blog name having my addiction in it. I do love the taste but I have to admit that my love is in part to the caffeine.  A cup of coffee is just what I need first thing in the morning but there are times throughout the day when I want/need an energy boost but don’t want to have a cup of coffee.

FRS Healthy Performance Products were exactly what I had been looking for.

FRS Energy Drinks

FRS sells products to meet 4 different needs.

  • Energy
  • Protein
  • Weight Management
  • Immunity

The energy products come in many different forms, but my favorites included the Wild Berry Energy Drinks (90 calories, 22g carbohydrates, 20g sugar, 2g fiber).  The energy drinks provide natural sustained energy, fight fatigue, and enhance performance.

FRS also makes hard shell chews and soft shell chews which can be eaten throughout the day for sustained energy.

As noted on their website, “All FRS products feature quercetin, a powerful all-natural antioxidant found naturally in many fruits and vegetables. Quercetin has been shown in multiple clinical trials to provide sustained energy, increased endurance, immune system support along with many other health benefits”.

Although I didn’t notice an instant boost in energy, as I do with coffee, I will say that I felt more sustained energy vs the crash that can sometimes occur with coffee.

Of all of the FRS products I tried though, the protein drinks were by far my favorite.  As football pre-season begins tomorrow, I will be throwing a FRS Protein drink (orange cream to be specific) into my bag for a post workout drink.  It’ll be important for me to increase my protein consumption during football season and these drinks will be a great way to get an added boost of protein (25 grams).

Have you ever tried FRS Healthy Performance Products?  Other than coffee, what do you turn to for an energy boost?

Fitfluential LLC provided me with the products for review.  All opinions are my own.
