A few weeks ago I was introduced to FitnessGlo, an online workout database. What drew me to FitnessGlo was just how diverse the class offerings were. You can search classes by Style, Teacher, Level, and Duration!! If I want a quick 10 minute workout, I can search that way. Or if I’m craving a barre class I can search that way too.
What FitnessGlo enables you to do is to get a workout in anywhere you have your computer. This is perfect for workouts at home, at work during your lunch break, or when you’re traveling!
With a super busy schedule, scheduling my workouts is pivitol in reaching my goals. Since football season started, I’ve gotten into the habit of scheduling my workouts on FitnessGlo that way they’re set and on my brain. On the website you can actually add workouts to your calendar and set reminders for them.
When I create my weekly plan, it’s helpful to know exactly which classes I’m going to do and how long it’ll take me to do them. Some days a 10 minute workout is just what the doctor ordered and other days a 30 minute workout will do the trick!
I also love that you can create a playlist on FitnessGlo. What this enables you to do is to link workouts together to form one big workout. I created an ABS playlist with 3, 10 minute abs classes, but I could also see myself creating a workout that combines yoga, aerobics, and core.
You can save your playlists and then bring them up any time you’d like.
FitnessGlo has been great during football season so far. It allows me to switch things up and to get workouts in that are different than the ones I get at practice.
