These past few weeks I’ve been making more of an effort to limit my carbohydrate intake and to increase my protein intake. I’ve never had a problem coming up with carb options…but I always seem to get bored with my protein options. There are only so many eggs, chicken breasts, and cottage cheese cups this girl can eat.

As a FitFluential Ambassador, I was given the opportunity to try some of Designer Whey‘s new products! The first products to catch my eyes were the protein powders as I knew I could get creative with them but I was also excited to try the other products.

I love smoothies, LOVE them, and knew I wanted to create a new breakfast smoothie using the White Chocolate Designer Whey Protein Powder.  In my blender I combined 1 cup of skim milk, 1 cup of frozen strawberries, and 1 scoop of Designer Whey’s White Chocolate Protein Powder.  It was delicious!

Another idea I had one morning last week was to add the French Vanilla protein powder to my coffee.  The protein powder dissolved much like powdered creamer and was a great way to add a little bit more protein to my breakfast!

The other products have been great post football practice.

The protein drinks have been great right after practice when I’m thristy and in need of a refuel.  Today after our first practice in full pads I enjoyed the Gourmet Chocolate shake which really hit the spot.

I really enjoyed trying all of the new Designer Whey products.  They helped me to get a bit more creative about my protein consumption.

Designer Whey has a lot of awesome products.  Right now you can get a Designer Whey Starter Kit for just $20.13, which is pretty cool!  I’m itching to try the Vanilla Praline.

What is your favorite way to increase your protein intake?
