Last month Neal and I completed AdvoCare’s 24 Day Challenge and we had amazing 24 Day Challenge results!
After years of using AdvoCare’s Spark and Catalyst I was really excited to take on the 24 Day Challenge (and Neal was too).
The challenge is broken down into 2 parts- the cleanse phase and the max phase.
The cleanse phase, which is 10 days long, helps your body reach a place where it is properly absorbing nutrients. Over the course of days 1- 10 I took the fiber drink, herbal supplements, spark, and a fish oil (omegaplex) on various days according to the daily guide book.
The max phase, which is 14 days long, helps to fuel your body to achieve max results. On days 11-24 I took the MNS 3 vitamins and supplements, meal replacement shake (I had this with protein and veggies each day), omegaplex, and spark.
Throughout the entire challenge I maintained the eating habits I have been working on all summer; I ate mindfully and trusted my knowledge of healthy living habits. I ate fruits, vegetables, lean meat, light dairy, and complex carbohydrates, which is right in line with what AdvoCare recommends for those on the Challenge.
The nutrition aspect of the challenge was really important to me because I have been working hard to move away from extreme diets and restrictive eating. I loved that the challenge recommended a balanced diet and regular exercise (I just continued my regular exercise program… running, spin classes, and weight lifting).
Within a few days, Neal and I were both feeling so much better than we were before we started. I felt energized, regular (btw, you do NOT live in the bathroom when you’re on the cleanse. You’ll have some good movements, but nothing crazy. Lets just get it out there.), and healthier. When day 24 rolled around I was so eager to see how we had done! Drum roll please…
Neal lost 13.5 inches and I lost 12 inches!
The challenge was one of the best things Neal and I could have done this summer. We feel energized, healthier, and more athletic! Now that the challenge is over, we’re both taking MNS, drinking Spark daily, and I’m taking the post-workout recovery shake after my workouts. As Neal says “we just feel goooood!”.
The Challenge is really liveable in my opinion. If your diet isn’t in a good place, it’ll help you to clean things up and to get back on track in a healthy way. You will end it feeling amazing and more in charge of your health and well being.
