This fall I’m making a conscious effort to work on my style and fashion a bit. I have a style… I guess… but the truth is I tend to focus on my health and fitness way more than on how I dress.
My closet is colorful and diverse, but I don’t really spend much time on myself each morning. I find whatever is comfortable, rarely do my hair, and almost never wear makeup. Natural, yes, but I’m also a bit lazy when it comes to my style.
Post 24 Day Challenge I’m feeling really great and am loving how clothes are fitting me again. It’s been a while since I’ve said that and I’m eager to go shopping for some more fall/winter clothes when it gets cooler.
When my eye doctor told me my prescription had changed, I was actually a little excited about finding some new specs. A few months ago my sister had told me about Warby Parker, a company that sends you 5 frames of your choice to try on from the comfort of your home for free, and I’ve been looking for a reason to try them out!
I tried on all 5 pairs and liked different things about each pair. Here were my 3 favorites from the five…
I liked number 2 the best but haven’t made a final decision. I’m actually thinking of requesting 5 more to try on but to see more styles like number 2.
Still, it has been fun trying on new frames and thinking about my fashion and style moving forward. I still want to dress comfortably, but I want my outward style to match how great I’m feeling about my body and my wellness on the inside.
What’s your take on style and fashion? How important is it to you?
