I found your site through google. I’m doing Jillian’s 90 day Body Revolution now and was curious if anyone else was having issues losing pounds. I feel like I’m becoming stronger (I’m on my first week of phase 2), but I’m not losing any weight. In fact, I’ve gained weight! I’ve lost a couple of inches overall, but I feel like the focus on strength training is causing more toning and less weight loss than I’d like. What did you think of the program? I notice your results stop at week 9. Did you get sick of the program or have to stop for health reasons?

@Katie, I am officially halfway through the program and am also not seeing much weight loss. I have lost a total of 10.5 inches, however so I am happy. However, weight loss is important to me as well. I do feel like the focus of BR is strength training and losing inches. I will stick with it until the end and then focus more on weight loss activities like running and bicycling. Good luck with the rest of your program.

Sorry for missing this Katie! I did complete the entire program, it was just overshadowed by my wedding. I didn’t lose a lot of “weight” but I lost a ton of inches! I loved the program and still use the workouts regularly.

I know this post is old but I am currently on level 2 of the 30 day shred and will be starting the body revolution on Monday. I am doing it to tone and to lose inches, not weight.

I know a few of you ladies were focused on weight loss and the scale but muscle weighs more then fat, You should not focus on the scale because that may discourage you from continuing the program by scale watching.

You lost some major inches and that is very impressive and you look amazing! For those wanting to lose weight while using this program, I would suggest you increase your cardio, and decrease your calorie intake.

I am 5’6 1301bs suffering from skinny fat. I have lost several inches in the 11 days so far since doing the 30 day shred, I am hoping the body revolution will get me the same results as you, and get me the lean toned body I want.

    Great job!

    Nina
