I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with yoga, but over the years I’ve learned to appreciate what yoga brings to my life. Yoga challenges me in a way that no other workout does. Yoga forces me to let go of my insecurities and to believe in my body’s abilities and inner strength.
I’ve taken a variety of yoga classes over the years and have always loved Hot Yoga. The heat makes me focus on my body and takes my workout to a new level! The start of the fall is an ideal time to get back into hot yoga because let me tell you, there is NOTHING better than taking hot yoga and then walking out into the crisp fall air. It’s amazing!
Yoga has also supported my other workouts. Throughout my football season, yoga was an ideal workout in between practices to bring balance to muscles. I still struggle to do all of the poses but I am learning!
As I move into the fall I’m really looking forward to getting back to hot yoga, returning to Honest Soul Yoga, and becoming more comfortable with my practice.
