After weeks full of travels, projects, and commitments, I made an effort to pamper myself this weekend. After going for a long run this morning and then having a huge salad for lunch, I started pampering myself a little.
I first took a warm shower using this new Olay body wash. With the temperatures lowering, my skin needs all the moisturizer it can get! I’ve never been much of a lotion user, so I love how soft this body wash makes my skin.
I also shaved my legs, which is something I hate doing. I said it before, but I just don’t know how some women shave their legs every day… uh, I’d hate that! (Like my sandals tan line btw??)
After drying my hair and plucking my eyebrows, I gave myself a little facial with my Rodan and Fields Refine system. A dear friend of mine, Shalayne, introduced me to Rodan and Fields and after using the Solution Tool I decided that I wanted to start using the Refine system for my skin.
I’ve been using this line a little over a month and I love it!! My skin is firmer and just feels healthier! I actually had no idea that Doctors Rodan and Fields are the same doctors who created Proactiv! Kinda cool huh?
After my facial I gave myself a manicure with one of the new fall Essie colors I bought at Target yesterday. I’m LOVING “twin sweater set” but went with “cashmere bathrobe” today.
It felt really great to take care of myself today. I often forget how important pampering is!
