Blissful Moments: Giveaway

Today’s post is sponsored by Coffee-mate Natural Bliss

Life is all about the simple moments and too often I forget that.  I add too much to my plate, allow days to go by without talking to my friends, and forget to give myself the simple moments that bring so much joy to my life.

It’s funny because I never really understood why my mom treasured her morning cup of coffee while reading her Bible each morning, but now as an adult, I completely understand.  It was her simple moment.  Her time to reflect, to ponder, and to enjoy peace before the day started.

Too often I race out of the house without taking the time to enjoy a moment of peace before the start of the day.  Whether it’s reading a book, journaling, or catching up on your favorite blogs, there’s something powerful about starting your day with some “you time.”  Some time to just sit, relax, and prepare for the day ahead.

Coffee-mate Natural Bliss

my bliss moment is the early morning after I get up with my one year old. I sit in my grandmothers rocking chair while she plays with her toys at my feet. She likes to pretend she is having a sip of coffee with me. Her smile is so big!

  2. Lauren says

I love spending 15 minutes when I get to the office sipping my coffee and catching up on blogs, personal emails, etc. Gets my head straight before I officially “start” my day!

  3. Melissa says

I would have to say the first hour when I wake up is the most peaceful
I have my cup of coffee and I just take fifteen minutes of peace and quiet before the craziness of the day starts :)

  4. Runner Jo says

I get home about 30 minutes before my husband and enjoy a little bit of peace and quiet. It is a great time to just read and relax.

  5. Claire says

My moment is probably similar to your moms- I love sipping my favorite seasonal coffee and reading my bible under a comfy blanket before I head out for the day!

  6. Elizabeth says

I’m not usually a morning person, but my blissful moment is the quiet time in the morning before the kids wake up and I can have a few minutes alone, all to myself.

  7. Erin H says

I just bought some natural bliss vanilla creamer yesterday! My blissful moment is at night when I’m reading in bed. Perfect way to wind down :)

  8. Jessie says

Bliss!! Pure bliss is a hot shower after a fantastic workout! Or a cup of chai tea by the fire. And my favorite blissful moment is climbing into fresh clean sheets at night!

  9. Lauryn says

I love reading my Bible at night before I go to bed, by the lamp light. It gets the “dirt” off the day so to speak. Its a time to relax and focus and think about what truely matters.

  10. says

I have to say my peaceful moment is when I am running. It is just me, the music and the road, then when I come home I just sit down for at least five minutes, catch up on some blogs, shopping and let my mind unwind. That has to be my most favorite time of day.

  11. Jessica says

I love taking a walk on the trail by my office at lunchtime! Its the perfect opportunity to get out and stretch my legs while enjoying the fresh air and peace of mind.

  12. Amber Middleton says

My blissful moments are on weekend mornings when I snuggle on the couch with my son and drink my coffee. Good creamer makes it even better!

  13. says

I enjoy the evenings with my husband when he gets home, we have enjoyed our dinner and then just relax. Some days it is a day well done but some are “not so wonderful” but in the end, we have each other and I savor those moments. Both of us have out favorite coffee mugs and I like creamer in mine and he appreciates good coffee but without creamer.

  14. Paige says

The best part of my day is going outside in the morning (when it’s quiet and not many people are around) to take my little dog for a stroll. :)

  15. Amanda says

Some days walking my dog and taking a breath of fresh air is all I need to feel relaxed, especially in the quiet early morning.

  16. Julie Kusz says

I love the new bliss. I have my coffee in the morning after exercising just to relax and reflect on all the good in my life and give my thanks for it. This is a great website and I get a lot of information from you. Thank you. Julie

  17. Marilyn M. says

My bliss is at 2pm with my cup of coffee before the kids come home from school and the busy scheduled starts. Thanks :)

  18. says

My blissful moment is doing a simple and quick yoga routine immediately after getting out of bed in the morning. I don’t always do it (like, when I snooze my alarm too much), but when I do, I always feel fantastic.

  19. Tory says

Especially now that it is cold I love to crawl into my bed afterwork with my electric blanket on high and just bask being surrounded by warmth.

  20. says

I love the mornings when everything goes exactly as planned – my alarm goes off on time (and I actually get up), my hair falls in to place, my dogs behave. Because then I’m just able to relax and fully enjoy my breakfast without feeling like I’m rushing around like a crazy person!

  21. Laura says

I am constantly racing around. I am a social worker and a mom, but I am often reminded to enjoy when I see the looks on the faces of my child or the children I work with. They are where the time should be spent. Their faces bring me peace.

  22. Ann says

My blissful moment is when Lola (my dog) and I go into my daughter’s room to wake her up in the morning. Lola jumps on Matea’s bed with me and we “sing” Matea her wake up song -

“Who’s the most beautiful girl in the world- It’s Matea! It’s Matea!”

And when we “sing” her this song my daughter points her fingers at herself and smiles. I love the self confidence she has in herself – I’ve done something right as a mom.

  23. Kaitlyn says

The blissful moments in my day are definitely sitting down to a warm cup of coffee first thing in the moment, especially if I can take my time. Because I have to be at work at 6am, it’s difficult to squeeze in that moment of silence in my house, but I’ve moved it to my car. I put on a little music, sip my coffee and just enjoy the ten minute drive. It’s the small things!

  24. says

I did not appreciate my mom’s early morning routine of coffee and reading either, but now that I’m a ‘grown-up’ I really love the benefit of a simple daily indulgence. I think we must have great moms! My bliss is the same as my mother’s: a nice cup of coffee while I peruse the news or a magazine (or blogs!). I didn’t know there was a low fat vanilla; I’ve been getting low fat mocha instead. I’m going to have to search that one out next time I’m shopping!

  25. Leah says

That moment when I am finally done doing all the things I need to get done for the day, and I can sit down with my pajamas on and read a book and relax is my blissful moment!
